Samantha Cooper first told me of her idea for Apocalypse Plays this summer while we were on vacation in Italy and Greece. I was immediately intrigued, as I had only embarked on two previous directing adventures, one of which was a 10 minute scene for a class required to graduate. The other was a co-directed a piece that was an adventure in and of itself, but I'll save that story for another entry.
That being said, while still being a total n00b at this 'directing' thing, I took Samantha up on her offer because I am absolutely fascinated with directing! On December 6, 2009 it became official, Apocalypse Plays would live to see the stage.
This blog will document my adventure from start to finish. The ins and outs, the ups and downs (hopefully not too many), the happy days and the just wanna punch a wall days.
I'm excited to for Winter Quarter 2010 to start, I'm so ready to embark on this journey!
